Hello, One or more of your cards on file for your Apple ID may need additional identity and card verification because one of the following applies:
- You added your credit or check card before 20 August, 2019.
- You added your credit or check card on a device running iOS 12.1 or older.
Starting 1st June, if any of your credit/check cards meet the above criteria, they will be removed from your Apple ID and may no longer be used unless you authenticate the impacted card. If you are an Apple Music, TV+, iCloud+ or third-party subscriber on the App Store and we cannot renew your subscriptions with a card that you have on file for your Apple ID, the subscriptions will automatically expire. To authenticate your impacted card, follow the steps below: - If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 12.2 or later, go to the Manage Payments page.
- If you have a Mac or PC, you can use the Apple Music app or iTunes (on PC) and navigate to Manage Payments.
- If you are using a web browser, you can go to music.apple.com or tv.apple.com and navigate to Manage Payments.
To continue making purchases and avoid interruptions to your existing subscriptions, you can also add another payment method. If you cannot add a payment method, please make sure that the payment method is accepted in your country or region. Learn more about ways to pay. Sincerely, Apple Support |
