We completed a major project to bring AFFO metrics to REIT investors. |
Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) have long been one of the best sources of reliable, high-yield dividend income. They allow investors to own income-producing real estate through publicly traded securities without the challenges of owning physical property. |
The problem is that traditional accounting metrics often make it difficult to determine how much of a REIT’s dividend is actually supported by its underlying cash flow. |
That’s where AFFO (Adjusted Funds From Operations) comes in. |
