In the wake of Tuesday's electoral results, key neocons are of course trying to pretend they had nothing to do with it, even though non-neocons (i.e., normal people) had been predicting this outcome all along.
The neocon party line now is: it wasn't the war that voters objected to; it was the ceasefire!
Yes, the voters objected to the ceasefire, so they voted Democrat. Imagine believing that.
Donald Trump, Jr., himself just said, "Whether you think it was the right decision or not, the Iran war is largely what shifted voter sentiment and caused this wave. It jacked up the price of gas … and it changed their minds. We also campaigned on not getting into these things."
And if the exit polling isn't enough (74 percent said the Iran war was either "crucial" or "a major factor" in their vote), and the post I shared yesterday by J.D. Vance doesn't move someone, well, the numbers just don't lie:
Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro and the whole bunch of them ought to be shunned and ridiculed and banned from any stage of any right-of-center organization ever again.
They handed the country over to the worst version of the American left we've seen, in exchange for a war the U.S. military had been telling the civilian side for 20 years was absolutely to be avoided.
It was a dual win for the neocons, though: they (1) got their war, and in doing so (2) did significant damage to Donald Trump, whom they have always hated and whose wing of the Republican Party they have long wanted to destroy, so they can get back to Mitt Romney and John McCain.
What I fear, and I hope I'm wrong (and I could well be wrong here), is that Levin and Shapiro will be fine, and they'll be on stage next year as if none of this happened.
Meanwhile, the kind of person who actually absorbs the damage -- higher gas prices, higher prices overall, more debt -- isn't Shapiro, but what William Graham Sumner famously called "the forgotten man."
You and I are the forgotten man.
The forgotten man is the man the regime remembers only when it comes time to loot someone on behalf of its favored constituencies.
Nobody in that crowd is going to look out for your finances. You will have to do that yourself.
So it's good timing that I’ve spent this week doing live calls with Troy Broussard on his Low Stress Options (LSO) program.
We've got one more, today at 5pm Eastern (one hour from when you receive this), and it's all Q&A.
Whatever you’ve been wondering about options and Troy's conservative and "low stress" approach, about whether this fits your situation, or about how Troy actually does it, bring it and ask him directly.
Then at midnight tonight, the bonuses go away. You’ve seen the list, so I won’t repeat it (though it includes an invitation to my not-to-be-missed annual Christmas party).
Click hereto reserve your spot at today's call; the link to join LSO is also on that page if you scroll all the way down.
No one is coming to save us. We'll have to help ourselves. This is a big part of the answer.
