Marc's answer changed how I think about sound. The replay is ready.

,
You know the old riddle.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
On Wednesday's CoachingCast, Marc gave an answer I hadn't heard before.
Sound, no. Vibration, yes.
Because the tree still sends a wave through the air whether or not an ear is there to catch it.
And that, it turns out, is where sound healing lives. Less in what you hear and more in what your body feels.
If you missed our conversation with Marci Shimoff, or you'd like to sit with it again, the replay is ready:

That riddle matters more than you might think.
Your body is constantly resonating with the vibrations around it. A deep tone slows your heart. A steady drum pulls your pulse into rhythm with it. Your nervous system responds long before your mind weighs in.
That's what Marc unpacked for us. And then Marci showed us what it looks like lived out, day-to-day, the sound healers she has come to know as friends, and what their work has opened up in her.
I've hosted a lot of CoachingCasts. This one I've already watched twice.
Give yourself the hour when you have it. The replay isn't going anywhere.

You’re going to love this.
